Milan, 2 July (LaPresse) – Toronto FC announced today that ‘the Club and Federico Bernardeschi have agreed to terminate the winger's contract. Toronto FC has exercised one of two contract termination options guaranteed by the Club for Bernardeschi.’ ‘After an internal discussion with Federico, we agreed that this was the right time to part ways,’ said Toronto FC General Manager Jason Hernandez. Bernardeschi, 31, has made 88 MLS regular season appearances for the Reds since joining Toronto FC midway through the 2022 season. In total, Bernardeschi scored 26 goals and provided 22 assists in 99 appearances in all competitions (MLS, Canadian Championship and Leagues Cup).
