Turin, 2 July (LaPresse) – Florent Ghisolfi is the new sporting director of Sunderland, the newly promoted Premier League club. The French executive, fresh from his experience at Roma, ‘will start work at the Stadium of Light on 3 July’. Ghisolfi's arrival represents ‘an evolution of Sunderland's long-term strategy,’ according to a statement, ‘as the club continues to prepare for the opportunities and demands of the Premier League.’ "The club, players, staff and fans achieved an extraordinary result last season.
