Milan, July 4 (LaPresse) – McLaren redemption in the second free practice session of the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit. Lando Norris set the fastest time with 1'25"816 ahead of the two Ferraris, with Charles Leclerc second at +0.222 and Lewis Hamilton third at +0.301. Fourth time for World Championship leader Oscar Piastri, in the other McLaren, nearly half a second behind his teammate. Fifth was reigning world champion Max Verstappen at about five tenths, sixth the Italian Kimi Antonelli in the Mercedes at almost six tenths, while George Russell was eighth in the other Silver Arrow at seven tenths.
