Rome, July 4 (LaPresse) – Como has officially announced the signing of Dutch winger Jayden Addai from AZ Alkmaar.
"Como 1907 is pleased to confirm the signing of Dutch winger Jayden Addai from AZ Alkmaar. The 19-year-old joins the club on a permanent deal until June 2030. A product of AZ’s renowned youth academy, Addai made his Eredivisie debut last season and was part of the AZ team that won the UEFA Youth League. He has already scored 15 goals in the Eerste Divisie for Jong AZ," reads the official statement from the Lombardy-based club.
"Jayden is direct, technical and fearless. He has already shown great quality at a high level and we believe this is the perfect place for him to grow and thrive. We’re excited to have him with us," said head coach Cesc Fàbregas.
"I'm excited to be here and to have the opportunity to join a prestigious club like Como 1907. The club has an ambitious project, and I can't wait to contribute to achieving great goals. This is my first experience away from home, but I'm settling in quickly and feel very confident and determined. Como is a special place. I visited the lake last year and found it enchanting – a pleasant climate, great food, a place where you truly feel good," said the player.
