London, July 5 (LaPresse) – Flavio Cobolli has qualified for the round of 16 at Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the season, played on the grass courts of London. The Italian player, ranked 24th in the world, defeated Czech player Jakub Mensik, 17th in the ATP rankings, in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-4, 6-2, after one hour and 49 minutes of play. In the round of 16, Cobolli will face the winner of the match between Croatia's Cilic and Spain's Munar.
