Turin, July 6 (LaPresse) – Karen Khachanov is the first player to reach the quarterfinals at Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the season, currently being played on the grass courts of London. The Russian tennis player defeated Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak, ranked No. 109 in the ATP rankings, in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 in one hour and 50 minutes of play. Khachanov will face the winner of the Fritz-Thompson match in the quarterfinals.
