Wimbledon, Sinner beats Alcaraz in the final: he is the first Italian to win the Championships

Turin, 13 July (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner makes history: the world number one defeated Carlos Alcaraz in four sets in the Wimbledon final, the third Grand Slam of the season, becoming the first Italian to win the Championships. The Italian tennis player triumphed in a comeback with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in three hours and six minutes of play, thus taking revenge on the Spaniard after losing the final at Roland Garros. For Sinner, it is his fourth Grand Slam title, the first on the grass courts of London.
