Rome, July 16 (LaPresse) – The Italian women’s national football team defeated Norway 2–1 to reach the semifinals of the European Championship. Girelli opened the scoring in the 50th minute. Hegerberg, after missing a penalty, brought Norway level at 1–1. But in the 90th minute, Girelli scored again to secure the victory for Italy.
