MotoGP: Czech Republic, Marc Marquez fastest in first free practice, Martin 17th

Turin, 18 July (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez immediately took the lead in the first free practice session of the Czech Republic Grand Prix for the MotoGP class. The Ducati rider, in a session characterised by mixed conditions, between dry and wet, stopped the clock at 1'54"606, ahead of Jack Miller's Yamaha Pramac by 615 thousandths and teammate Pecco Bagnaia by 653 thousandths. Enea Bastianini finished fifth on his KTM, almost a second behind the Spaniard (+0.992). Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) and Luca Marini (Honda) also finished in the top ten, seventh and eighth respectively. Reigning world champion Jorge Martin, back on track after the physical problems that affected him in the first part of the season, finished 17th.
