Milan, July 24 (LaPresse) – The wrestling world is mourning the death of icon Hulk Hogan at the age of 71. According to U.S. outlet TMZ, the former world champion passed away early this morning at his home in Clearwater, Florida, after suffering a medical emergency. Emergency responders were unable to save him; Hogan was taken from his property on a stretcher and transported to the hospital by ambulance. The official cause of death has not yet been released, but TMZ reports it may have been cardiac arrest. Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, was one of the biggest names in wrestling and, after retiring from competition, served as a WWE ambassador.
