Milan, July 30 (LaPresse) – Another medal-less day for Italy at the Fencing World Championships in Tbilisi. After the women's team sabre squad was knocked out in the round of 16, the men's team épée journey also came to an end.
The Italian team — Davide Di Veroli, Matteo Galassi, Andrea Santarelli, and Gianpaolo Buzzacchino — was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Kazakhstan, who won 45-43.
