Toronto, Aug 2 (LaPresse) – Flavio Cobolli's excellent form continues. After his breakthrough at Wimbledon, where he reached the quarterfinals, the 23-year-old from Rome has secured a spot in the round of 16 at the Toronto Masters 1000. Cobolli defeated Hungarian Fábián Marozsán in three sets with scores of 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in one hour and 51 minutes of play. In the next round, the Italian will face American Ben Shelton, who beat fellow countryman Brandon Nakashima 7-6 in the third set after a battle lasting over two and a half hours. Cobolli is now the only Italian left in the Canadian tournament, following the third-round exits of Musetti, Arnaldi, and Sonego.
