Munich (Germany), 2 August (LaPresse) – Long layoff for Aleksandar Pavlovic, Bayern Munich midfielder, who underwent surgery after suffering a fractured eye socket during training yesterday. The Bavarian club did not specify the circumstances of the accident, merely stating that the player ‘is facing a period of rest’. Despite being only 21 years old, Pavlovic, considered one of the best midfielders in the world, has already had to stop playing several times due to injuries and illness. In his debut season (2023-2024), he contracted tonsillitis, which prevented him from participating in the subsequent European Championships with the German national team. Last year, he suffered a broken collarbone and fell ill with mononucleosis.
