Milan, 2 August (LaPresse) – Thomas Ceccon did not go beyond eighth place in the 100m butterfly final at the World Swimming Championships in Singapore. The Italian finished with a time of 51.12, collapsing in the return leg after an excellent start. Gold medal for France's Maxime Grousset in 49.62, silver for Switzerland's Noe Ponti in 49.83 and bronze for Canada's Ilya Kharun in 50.07.
