Rome, Aug 4 (LaPresse) – Another rift between Lookman and Atalanta, and now the split seems definitive. The Nigerian forward was expected at the Zingonia training center for a personalized recovery session for a calf issue, but he did not show up. This latest incident follows the removal of Atalanta-related posts from his Instagram and a message last Sunday in which he formally requested to leave the club. Earlier in the day, Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi clarified the club’s stance: “The player told us he wouldn’t play for any other club in Italy. We are the ones who will dictate the timing and terms of his departure.”
