Milan, Aug. 7 (LaPresse) – Antonio Conte, Enzo Maresca, and Simone Inzaghi are among the candidates for the Johan Cruyff Award for best coach of 2025, established by France Football. The Salento-born coach led Napoli to its fourth league title, while the Salerno-born coach led Chelsea to victory in the Conference League and, above all, the Club World Cup. Other candidates include the hot favorite, Spain's Luis Enrique of PSG, winner of the Champions League, Germany's Hansi Flick, Spanish champion with Barcelona, and the Netherlands' Arne Slot, winner of the Premier League with Liverpool. Notable absentees include Simone Inzaghi, now at Al-Hilal, who led Inter to the Champions League final and second place in the league.
