Turin, Aug. 6 (LaPresse) – Como defeated Real Betis 3-2 in the first of two scheduled friendlies in Spain. Diao opened the scoring for the Lariani in the 4th minute after missing a penalty, and Da Cunha doubled the lead just after the half-hour mark. Despite being a friendly, tensions ran high toward the end of the first half, with Perrone and Fornals both being sent off. In the second half, within just seven minutes, the Andalusians equalized with a penalty from Isco in the 55th minute and a goal by Junior Firpo in the 62nd. In stoppage time, Ivan Azon's goal proved decisive. Como will be back on the pitch on Sunday, August 10, for a highly anticipated clash against Barcelona in the Gamper Trophy.
