Milan, Aug. 7 (LaPresse) – Paris Saint-Germain and Lille have reached an agreement for the transfer of goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier to the capital. According to L'Equipe, PSG sent a new proposal to Lille in the last few hours to meet the northern club's demands. The offer is estimated at just over $40 million, excluding bonuses. Now the two clubs must finalize the details and put the agreement in writing before finalizing the transfer. It is only a matter of hours. Chevalier will then be able to travel to Paris to undergo medical examinations and sign his five-year contract. Paris wants to resolve the matter quickly so that it can count on the Frenchman as early as next Wednesday in the European Super Cup against Tottenham in Udine. The arrival of 23-year-old Chevalier puts Donnarumma's future at the club in jeopardy. The Italian goalkeeper's contract expires next year and negotiations for a renewal have stalled. Real Madrid and Manchester United have been tracking Donnarumma in recent weeks, not to mention that he has always been linked with Juventus in Italy.
