Turin, August 9 (LaPresse) – Mattia Bellucci was eliminated in the first round of the Cincinnati Open, a Masters 1000 event held on the hard courts of the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Ohio. The Italian player, ranked 74th in the ATP rankings, lost his debut match against Bosnian Damir Dzumhur, ranked 54th in the world, in straight sets with two tie-breaks, 7-6 (7), 7-6 (5), in a two-and-a-half-hour match. Dzumhur will face Carlos Alcaraz in the second round of the tournament.
