Rome, 17 August (LaPresse) – After the sprint race, Marc Marquez on Ducati also wins the Austrian Grand Prix in the premier class of MotoGP, his ninth victory of the season. The Spaniard battled until nine laps from the end at the Red Bull Ring, overtaking Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), who had been in the lead for more than half the race from pole position and ultimately had to settle for third place behind Aldeger (Gresini). Francesco Bagnaia finished eighth after a great start but was sucked back into the pack due to a mistake midway through the race.
