Winston-Salem (USA), Aug 19 (LaPresse) – Mattia Bellucci defeated Argentine Francisco Comesaña to reach the second round of the ATP 250 tournament in Winston-Salem. During the Italian night, Bellucci beat the world No. 54 with a score of 6-4, 6-3 in one hour and 21 minutes, securing his place in the round of 32 where he will face Spaniard Jaume Munar, world No. 46 and the tournament’s 12th seed. Already in the second round, as seeded players, are three other Italians: Lorenzo Sonego, the defending champion, will play against Stefan Dostanic, ranked 419th in the ATP rankings; Luciano Darderi will face American Mackenzie McDonald (ATP No. 95); and Matteo Arnaldi will play against Dutch player Botic Van de Zandschulp (No. 92).
