Rome, Aug. 19 (LaPresse) – Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori qualified for the mixed doubles semifinals at the US Open. The Italians, defending champions, defeated the pair formed by Russia’s Andrey Rublev and Czech player Karolina Muchova with a score of 4-1, 5-4. Lorenzo Musetti, instead, was eliminated. The Tuscan player, teaming up with American Caty McNally, lost to Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud. The Pole and the Norwegian prevailed 4-1, 4-2.
