Rome, 20 August (LaPresse) – The Italian women's volleyball team has arrived in Thailand. At 12 noon local time (7 a.m. Italian time), the team landed in Phuket, home to Pool B of the first phase of the 2025 Women's World Championships. Captain Danesi and her teammates arrived on the Thai island on an intercontinental flight from Milan Malpensa. After a few hours of rest, they will immediately get to work to prepare for their upcoming World Championship debut, scheduled for Thursday 22 August at 3.30pm Italian time against Slovakia.
