Rome, August 27 (LaPresse) – At the opening of the Serie B League Assembly in Milan, President Paolo Bedin presented a plaque to Monza’s vice-president and CEO, Adriano Galliani, for his 50 years in the world of football.
“A career of success and trophies that is hard to match,” said Bedin as he handed over the award, which included the following tribute: "To the man and the executive who, with passion, balance, competence, and prestigious achievements, has marked the history of our beloved sport."
"These have been 50 wonderful years, thank you," Galliani replied. "Today I’m happy and also a bit emotional. Those who love football rarely leave it; I started again from where I began many years ago."
