Milan, August 29 (LaPresse) – AC Milan claimed their first Serie A win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Lecce at the Via del Mare stadium, in the second matchday's opening fixture. The Rossoneri had two goals disallowed by VAR — one by Gabbia for a foul on Coulibaly and another by Gimenez for offside — before breaking the deadlock in the 66th minute with a header from Loftus-Cheek, perfectly assisted by Modric. In the final minutes, Pulisic sealed the result by taking advantage of a defensive error by Lecce. After the opening loss to Cremonese, Massimiliano Allegri's side bounce back, while the Salentini remain on just one point in the standings.
