Rome, 1 September (LaPresse) – Liverpool's spending spree continues as the club reaches an agreement with Newcastle to purchase Isak for £125 million (over €144 million), according to The Guardian. The Swedish international will undergo a medical today before signing a contract worth £300,000 (over €346,000) per week. The Reds have thus won the tug-of-war with Newcastle, who on 1 August rejected an offer of almost €127 million and declared Isak unsellable. With this purchase, Liverpool's spending in this transfer window exceeds €507 million.
