Milan, 5 September (LaPresse) – Amanda Anisimova is the second finalist of the US Open. The American tennis player, number 9 in the WTA rankings, beat Naomi Osaka 2-1 in the semi-final on the hard court at Flushing Meadows, New York. After the Japanese player won the first set in a tie-break with a score of 7-6, Anisimova won 7-6 in the second and 6-3 in the third in almost three hours of play. In the final, she will face world number one Aryna Sabalenka.
