Monza, 6 September (LaPresse/AP) – Pierre Gasly has renewed his contract with Alpine until the 2028 season. The announcement came during the Italian Grand Prix, which the Frenchman won in 2020 while driving for AlphaTauri. ‘I am thrilled to commit my long-term future to Alpine,’ said the 29-year-old driver. "As a Frenchman, in particular, driving for a French car manufacturer makes me very proud. Since I arrived in 2023, I have always believed that this team was the right place for my future. I want to stay here for years to come and achieve our common goal: to win races and world championships. We are all in the same boat, and I look forward to continuing this special story."
