Volleyball: Women's World Cup, Turkey first finalist

Turin, 6 September (LaPresse) – Turkey is the first finalist in the Women's Volleyball World Cup currently underway in Bangkok, Thailand. The team led by coach Daniele Santarelli defeated Japan 3-1 in the semi-finals. The set scores were 16-25, 25-17, 25-18, 27-25. Turkey will face the winner of Italy-Brazil, the second semi-final of the day, in the final.
