New York, Sept 7 (LaPresse) – Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka wins the US Open women's final, claiming the title. Sabalenka defeated American Amanda Anisimova in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3). The match lasted one hour and 36 minutes and was played on the main court at Flushing Meadows, New York. For Sabalenka, this is her second consecutive US Open victory after last year's triumph.
