Milan, September 10 (LaPresse) – Norway crushes Moldova 11-1 in a Group I match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which also includes Italy. The Norwegians dominated, led by Manchester City star Erling Haaland, who scored five goals. Aasgard added four more, including one from the penalty spot. Myhre opened the scoring in the 6th minute, and Ødegaard also found the net. Moldova’s only goal in Oslo came from an own goal by Ostigard, making it 7-1 at the time. With this big win, Norway climbs to 15 points at the top of the group, six ahead of Italy but with one more match played. Moldova remains at the bottom of the table with zero points.
