Pesaro, Sept. 12 (LaPresse) – "For the first time, the UEFA Futsal Champions League Final Four will be held in Italy and hosted in the Marche region, in Pesaro, in May 2026. This is an extraordinary achievement that once again confirms our region’s ability to become a stage for major international sporting events. We believed in this from the beginning, building a strong institutional collaboration that involved the city of Pesaro and the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi."
This was announced by Francesco Acquaroli (FdI), outgoing President of the Marche Region and candidate in the regional elections on September 28 and 29.
"A special thanks," he adds, "to FIGC President Gabriele Gravina and the President of the Futsal Division, Stefano Castiglia, for the support and commitment with which the FIGC and the Division, together with local institutions, promoted the bid dossier to UEFA."
