Rome, Sept. 13 (LaPresse) – Jonas Vingegaard (Team Visma–Lease a Bike) won the 20th stage of the Vuelta at the summit of the Bola del Mundo, effectively sealing his overall victory. At the finish, Vingegaard’s teammate Sepp Kuss finished ahead of Jai Hindley (Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe) by two seconds, securing second place in the general classification, while Hindley took third. Tom Pidcock (Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team) was five seconds further back, placing fourth. For Vingegaard, who extends his lead in the general standings, this is his third stage win.
