Rome, Sept. 20 (LaPresse) – "I have a thousand other things to think about, because it’s convenient and it has always been a hot topic. I keep moving forward on my path, I don’t care about anyone else. I’m very focused on what I should do, to convince the players that the team deserves to be defended because it is strong and has proven it," said Cristian Chivu, Inter’s coach, on the eve of the home match against Sassuolo.
"Until March, everyone was talking about Inter, not only in Italy but worldwide, then some misfortunes made us forget that they were strong. I understand the disappointments and what you have to endure at certain moments in the season, but this team has had a great season and has the grit and quality. There are a thousand other adjectives to describe it that allow me to stay calm and only worry about getting the best out of them," he added.
"Sassuolo? There are no easy matches. You have to be ready; they can definitely pose a threat. Lautaro Martinez and Josep Martinez starters? I’m thinking of playing a little game myself. One Martinez will play. I have to leave you with a few question marks," he concluded.
