Rome, Sept. 21 (LaPresse) – “In the second half, we failed to manage the ball and ran into difficulties. There was a chance to take positions to push up the defensive line, but we didn’t take it. We conceded too much space. These are mistakes that are repeating in these matches. It’s a pity because our approach to the game was the right one. We need to do more,” said Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli to Sky Sport after the home defeat against Como. “I’m disappointed and sad; the fans hoped for a different start, and rightly the team was booed. It’s the beginning, that’s true, but we need to do more and I have to find the solution. We have the potential to do better. We take full responsibility, but to see that foul that led to the first goal booed — I’ve rarely seen that. These are serious lapses,” he added.
