Vienna, Oct. 23 (LaPresse) – "We are friends and spend a lot of time together; it will be a tough match. I have a lot of respect for Flavio, he’s having an incredible season and is improving tournament after tournament. Hopefully, it will be a great match." This is what Jannik Sinner told Sky Sport ahead of his match against Cobolli at the ATP 500 in Vienna.
Sinner made his tournament debut with a win against German Daniel Altmaier. "It was a great match; I started very well," said the world number two. "Being a few breaks up gives you a big hand and lets you play some moments more relaxed. My game suits indoor courts better, but my opponent feels the same way. I feel pretty good, and I think it shows."
