Turin, Nov. 4 (LaPresse) – “I’m proud to be Italian, I’m very happy to have been born in Italy and not in Austria, or somewhere else, because honestly I think this country deserves much more, even more than what I’m doing. We have the facilities, we have the coaches, we have the players, and we have so many different mentalities. Some say that South Tyrol is different, Sicily is completely different, but that’s also our good fortune — our strength lies in our differences.”
So said Jannik Sinner in an interview with Sky Sport a few days before the start of the ATP Finals. “We have everything we need to compete with the best in the world, and in my opinion we need to come together, stay united, and support each other to win more trophies and feel more pride — because I think Italy deserves it,” he added.
