Football, Messi: "I want to continue having fun and playing"

Miami (Florida, USA), Nov. 6 (LaPresse) – Lionel Messi, star of Inter Miami, wants to continue playing and, therefore, there will be time to reflect on what he has accomplished in his football career. But that day, he said, will not come until he retires, and since he has a contract that will keep him playing until 2028, it might not be so near. "It is not something I have thought about or worried about," Messi said in Spanish when asked about his legacy, speaking at the American Business Summit in Miami, USA. "When I retire, over the years, I will obviously give much more value to everything I have done in my career and what I have achieved professionally. But today is the time to continue having fun and playing," explained the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner and current World Cup champion with Argentina.
