MotoGP: Portuguese Grand Prix, Bezzecchi takes pole position, Bagnaia fourth

Rome, 8 November (LaPresse) – Marco Bezzecchi takes pole position at the Portuguese Grand Prix. In Portimao, the Aprilia rider (on his fourth pole position of the season, his eighth in the top class) finished in 1'37"556 ahead of Pedro Acosta (KTM) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha). Pecco Bagnaia, with the official Ducati, opens the second row, ahead of Alex Marquez, who crashed at the end of the session. Di Giannantonio was ninth. The Sprint Race will start at 4pm this afternoon. With this pole position (his 12th in all classes), Bezzecchi equals Johann Zarco, Luca Cadalora and Phil Read, placing him 27th in the modern era (since 1971) in the top class.
