Turin, 9 November (LaPresse) – "We were very tired at the end and we took a few too many risks, but otherwise we played an excellent game because Udinese were difficult to face: they are a very physical team. But we played with great intensity and certainly good technique, with some good moves. The goal was also very nice. I'm satisfied. It's a team that's growing, playing well and believing in itself." Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini spoke to Sky Sport after his side's league win against Udinese. "Satisfied with the 2-0 goal? Yes, also because it turned out to be an important goal and it's also part of how we filled the area. That certainly wasn't the case a few weeks ago. I saw a lot of good things. But, as I said before, we had already seen them in the Cup and in the league. It's a good moment for us, even if we now have a break. However, I think it will do us good: on the one hand because we can stay at the top for two weeks, and on the other because we need to get some players back,‘ he admitted. ’We have lost a lot of players at the moment: the only injuries we have are in attack. Missing several players in the same department can cause difficulties, but I think that compared to a few weeks ago, the team has gained different references and convictions in the way it attacks."
