Rome, 19 November (LaPresse) – The Euroleague match between Virtus Bologna and Maccabi Tel Aviv will take place as scheduled on Friday 21 November at the PalaDozza, as decided by the prefecture. In recent days, Mayor Matteo Lepore had asked to move the match to another venue, renewing his appeal to Home Secretary Matteo Piantedosi, who rejected the proposal. The match has been strongly contested by trade unions, student groups and political movements, and a large protest against the Israeli team's presence is expected in Bologna.
