Rome, 29 Nov. (LaPresse) – Oscar Piastri takes pole position at the Qatar Grand Prix, the penultimate round of the F1 World Championship. The Australian McLaren driver, winner of the sprint race, finished ahead of his teammate and World Championship leader, Lando Norris. Max Verstappen was third in his Red Bull, ahead of the Mercedes of George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. Charles Leclerc's Ferrari was tenth fastest. Lewis Hamilton's other Ferrari was eliminated in Q1. The British driver finished 18th and will start from the ninth row.
