Turin, December 2 (LaPresse) – Italy won the silver medal in the women's 4×50-meter freestyle relay at the European Short Course Swimming Championships, which began today in Lublin, Poland. The quartet of Silvia Di Pietro, Sara Curtis, Agata Maria Ambler, and Costanza Cocconcelli swam a time of 1:34.30—a new Italian record—beaten only by the Netherlands, who took gold in 1:33.85. Poland took bronze in 1:35.75.
