Turin, 19 Dec. (LaPresse) – "I think 2026 is a great opportunity for all the teams on the grid, including us. We have focused our attention on this project. There is good collaboration between the chassis and engine sides. It's a real challenge, but also a great opportunity from an engineering point of view. Let's see where we are in Bahrain with the tests and then in Australia. I think it will be a completely different season compared to the one just ended. The standings we have in Australia could change substantially race after race because the rate of development will be enormous. This means that regardless of the result in Australia, we should immediately focus on the second race and try to bring updates to the car. It won't be a question of winning or not, the focus will always be on developments and the speed of developments. It will be a different approach, but it's a nice challenge for the team." So said Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur in an interview with Sky Sport during the traditional end-of-season gathering in Maranello. He then announced that the new car will be unveiled on 23 January.
