Rome, Jan. 6 (LaPresse) – Como, led by Cesc Fàbregas, recorded their third consecutive victory, moving temporarily into fourth place in the Serie A standings. At the Arena Garibaldi, the Larians defeated Pisa 3-0 in the 19th-round match. After a first half with few scoring chances, Perrone opened the scoring in the 68th minute with a left-footed shot from outside the area. The lead was doubled in the 76th minute by Douvikas with a precise diagonal finish. In the 85th minute, Pisa missed a penalty as Nzola’s shot was saved by Butez. Douvikas, however, converted a penalty in the 95th minute for a foul in the area. With this result, Como temporarily reaches 33 points, level with Roma and Juventus.
