Milan, 19 January. (LaPresse) – ‘We are facing one of the strongest teams in Europe, but not just this year. They have spent money, they have an identity and they have players who can cause you problems. They have been dominant in the Premier League in recent years, narrowly missing out on winning it.’ These were the words of Inter coach Cristian Chivu speaking to Sky Sport on the eve of the Champions League match against Arsenal. ‘They are top of the table this year and are having an important season. We know the difficulties of a competition like the Champions League and of English teams. At the same time,’ he added, "we are aware of who we are, what we have become in European competitions and that we know how to deal with these kinds of matches. We will try to be the best version of ourselves tomorrow as well.‘ ’For me, Arsenal and Bayern are the two strongest teams, but we are not starting out defeated. We will play our game and try to understand the moments,‘ he said. ’Arteta? There is always something to learn from other coaches. You try to pick up and steal what you think is right for your team. He is proving to be a strong coach with a lot of ambition in a club with a great tradition,‘ said Chivu, who finally glossed over a question about Frattesi and transfer rumours. ’We have 22 players available and they are all an asset to the team," he concluded.
