Rome, 19 Jan. (LaPresse) – In last night's NBA action, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors 110-93, thanks in part to a strong performance by Deandre Ayton, who scored 25 points. The Charlotte Hornets beat the Denver Nuggets 110-87, with Brandon Miller leading the way with 23 points. Ja Morant scored 24 points in his Memphis Grizzlies' 126-109 win over the Orlando Magic, while the Chicago Bulls beat the Brooklyn Nets 124-122. Jabari Smith Jr. scored 32 points to seal the Houston Rockets' 119-110 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Finally, the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Sacramento Kings 117-110, with Deni Avdija making an important contribution (30 points).
