Isack Hadjar's Red Bull finished Day 1 in the lead with a time of 1'18'“159, followed by George Russell's Mercedes with 1'18”'696 and Franco Colapinto's Alpine with 1'20'189. Kimi Antonelli's other Mercedes was fourth in 1'20''700. Tomorrow sees the eagerly awaited debut of Ferrari and world champions McLaren.
