Rome, 14 March (LaPresse) – Kimi Antonelli in a Mercedes secures pole position at the Chinese Grand Prix. At the Shanghai circuit, Antonelli finished Q3 in 1:33.305, ahead of his team-mate George Russell and the Ferraris of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. For Antonelli, this is his first pole in traditional qualifying (excluding the Sprint) and he is the first Italian driver to secure a pole since 2009, when Giancarlo Fisichella started from the front of the grid in Belgium.
