NBA: Jokic’s triple-double proves decisive for the Nuggets; the Knicks and Suns win

With his 35th triple-double of the season, Nikola Jokic (22 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists) led Denver to a crucial 128-112 victory over Portland, whilst Phoenix thrashed Toronto 120-98 thanks to the duo of Devin Booker (25 points and 6 assists) and Jalen Green (20 points and 7 assists), and New York did the same against Washington with a 145-113 scoreline (Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a double-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds, and Jalen Brunson scored 23 points). Malik Monk proved decisive (32 points, including 7/13 from three-point range, coming off the bench) in the Kings’ 126-122 victory over the Nets.
